Thew & McCann Pty Ltd is a privately owned company specialising in the supply of materials and equipment to electricity supply and allied industries.

Lance Thew & Harold McCann began operations in Sydney after WWII, and built the company into a major supplier to the NSW electricity industry in the post-war years. The Thew & McCann name was synonymous with overhead line technology at that time, supporting the extension of grid supply throughout regional and rural NSW.

The company's Queensland branch commenced operation in Brisbane in 1967, and for many years was located in Kangaroo Point near the Story Bridge. With its headquarters now located at Cleveland, southeast of Brisbane, Thew & McCann has a purpose-built factory for the manufacture and distribution of products to customers throughout Australia and the southwest Pacific region. The company services customers in all Australian states and territories.

The Thew & McCann name is well-known and respected throughout the electricity supply and electrical industries. With its own products now launched under the T-Mac™ brand, Thew & McCann is well-positioned to supply products and services to utility customers and industrial owners and operators of electric power systems.
